What's happened to running in the rain and picnics in the meadow?
We no longer run in the rain, walk in the mud, eat in a meadow, swim in a creek.
We now drive in a car, walk in a mall, eat in a restaurant, swim in a gym.
We no longer touch life like our forefathers once did.
Gone is the sting of the evening breeze on our wet face and the welcoming warmth
of the crackling hearth fire. This has been replaced by climate control.
Gone is the bump and jolt of the wagon traveling the dusty road.
This has been replaced by automatic luxury cars.
It's your story

- the true story of your life. A story that starts with us full of
energy, zeal, vigor -children running in the rain. And then it traces
our slow but inevitable acquiescence to the programming of society as
touch is removed. But with this realization begins a journey as we
learn once more to rediscover the energy, the passion, the enthusiasm
for life that we once had. Touch Life is a journey that ends with the
beginning of the story of the rest of your life.
What's happned to your Persecuted Sense?
When we consider our five senses we quickly realize that four of our
senses (sight, taste, hearing and smell) are enjoying sensual overload,
while touch is being persecuted. Modern society with its eclectic mix
of creature comforts seeking to pander to our every need is, in so
doing, insulating us from touching life. The message is screamed by
society, by the media, by parents, by colleagues - “Don’t Touch!” and
with unerring subservience, we obey. .
What's happened to our energy, our vigor, our health?
Why is it that we feel so used up? Why do we feel like we have so
little energy anymore? What happened to the energy we used to have?
And so we spend millions of dollars trying to fix our waning energy and
our waxing waist, our decreasing joy and our increasing stress.Yet
before us lies a simple solution, we need only reach out and Touch
Life! We need to rediscover the simple zest for life that people seemed
to have a hundred years ago. It was a life of open fields, fresh air,
hot sun, cool rivers, dusty roads - but it was a life pulsating with
energy, with touch.
“Americans
are experiencing an erosion of their sense of well-being…..There has
been a decrease in quality of life in the U.S. since 1970, as measured
by the index of Social Health…..42% of American workers report feeling
“used up” by the end of the workday and 69% would like to “slow down
and live a more relaxed life”.

“Marley
taught me about living each day with unbridled exuberance and joy,
about seizing the moment and following your heart. He taught me to
appreciate the simple things-a walk in the woods, a fresh snowfall, a
nap in the shaft of winter sunlight”
